ANGELO DANZA

Angelo Danza is a third-generation horseman. As the owner of AD Sporthorses in Brewster, Angelo brings a wealth of equestrian expertise to his clients. Having previously ridden with top professionals, Angelo has enjoyed success in both the hunter and jumper rings and currently competes as a Grand Prix show jumper.

Angelo’s expertise includes sales. He has an eye for young talent and has developed an extensive professional network affording him access to top quality horses in Europe and the US, importing young horses with upper-level show jumping ability for himself and his sales clients. He enjoys the process of training young horses to reach their highest potential. Angelo believes patience is key to bringing these horses along. “Just keep it simple,” he says of horse training. “Have patience and stay consistent.”

AD Sporthorses offers individually tailored training to riders of all abilities up through the Grand Prix level.  Each client receives personalized attention, whether they are bringing their own horses or just enjoying lessons. The program provides competition opportunities for clients from the local through national levels, including Old Salem Farm, HITS Saugerties Summer Circuit, The Vermont Summer Festival, Princeton Show Jumping, and the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.

With a state of the art facility on 60+ acres, AD Sporthorses is the ideal environment for any horse and their rider.  Amenities include a 120 x 220 glass enclosed indoor arena with TravelRight dust free footing, an outdoor ring, an additional novice-set cross country field with access to miles of trails, seven day turnout in grass or dirt paddocks, an equine treadmill, and a heated boarders’ lounge. AD Sporthorse’s staff of professional grooms provide the highest quality horse care for each animal and apply customized care plans developed by Angelo and his team.
